Split a PDF and extract pages

Pull one chapter, a single form or a handful of pages out of a longer PDF.

Files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

Enter the pages you want and save them as a new document, or remove the pages you do not need. The original file on your device is not changed.

How to split a PDF and extract pages

  1. Open the PDF you want to split.
  2. Choose the split option in the page tools and enter the pages to extract, such as 2-5.
  3. Save those pages as a new PDF.

What you get

  • Extract any range

Pick a single page or a range of pages and save only those as a separate PDF.

  • Or delete what you do not need

Remove individual pages from the document and download what is left.

  • Pages stay as they were

Extracted pages keep their text, images and layout. They are copied, not re-created.

Split PDF: questions and answers

How do I save just one page of a PDF?

Open the PDF, choose the split option and enter that page number. The page is saved as its own PDF.

Can I save a page as an image instead?

Yes. A page can be exported as a PNG image.

Is my original PDF changed?

No. Splitting creates a new file to download. The file you opened stays as it is on your device.
